Just wanted to say that this a fabulous forum and I can't say enough about how much information I have found here. icon_smile.gif

Anywho, I made this cake for a friend of a friend and wanted to get some input on what should have been charged. I ended up charging $50, which is probably kinda low but is is rather small.

Thank you,
Amy

Welcome to Cake Central!! Your purse cake looks wonderful!! Depending on the size, I would probably charge around 50.00. You did a lot of detail work, so yours might go even higher.

Sounds about right to me since it is small. ANy bigger and i would charge more for the labor and darn it the "creativity"! icon_biggrin.gif It is adorable!!!

Your purse looks great...Love your straps and the hardware.
I charge $50-60 for my purse cakes. (the louis vuitton ones) I should probably charge more...But I find it hard to say that...I hate dealing with $$. Yikes.
Anyway, Great job on yours.
Nicole
