ok, kind of a dumb question....but what is this stuff.
I have a couple recipes that call for it and i'm not sure what it is. i've looked around the grocery store, but not sure what i'm looking for.

It is a liquer sold in the liquer stores!!! Tastes like orange I believe!! I have a recipe to make it homemade!!!
grand M is liquor.Its used in Margarita's and other drinks and cakes too

Grand Marnier
Finely grated orange zest 1/2 tbsp
(No white pith)
Orange sections 1 Cup
Granulated Sugar 1 Cup
Brown Sugar,packed 1 Cup
Brandy 3/4 Cup
Combine first 4 ingredients in a jar with tight fitting lid.Pour brandy over top.Do not stir.Cover.Let stand at room temperature for 5 weeks.Strain and return to jar.Makes 2 1/3 cups

Just a note, if you don't think you'll use it much, I wouldn't buy GM. It's much more money than some of the others mentioned. Ofcourse, if you use something different the end result will taste slightly different but I'm sure if you use something similar it will still be good.
