I just got a call from a local ice cream store and they want to order buttercream roses for their cakes. As this is a first for me, how much should I charge? I will be supplying the ingredients.

Thanks for your help!

June, you can do a net search for icing roses and price yourself accordingly.

Looked on the internet and could only find royal prices. Since I made the icing special and there were 3 different colors, I think I will ask $15 for 18 pieces delivered. What do you think?

Thanks!

I would time myself to see how long it takes me to make one.

Or..how many I can make in 10 minutes.

or even how many in one hour.

Then figure out how much you want to make per hour...

Let's say you made 30 roses in one hour, and you want to make $10.00 an hour... you can sell your roses for .33 cents each.

$10.00 divided by 30 equals....$0.33

but please have someone else double check my terrible math abilities!
