Okay I have read the post about stacking the cakes, but I am still a little confused (Blonde)! Okay next weekend I need to do a 10" 8" & 6" inch with no spacing inbetween. I have been trying to figure out my best way of doing this. THis needs to be transported 3.5 miles done the road. I have wooden and plastic dowels. I bought a 10" & 8" cake plates for support. But here is what I am confused about.

1 Do I use wooden or plastic?
2 If I use wooden do I just flip my cake plates over so the feet are in the cake itself?
3 If I use the plastic do they pop into the cake plate?
4 Also if I use plastice do I just push them through the cake?

Okay I think I am done! Thanks for the help Megan

1. I use wooden dowels.

2. I'm not sure what you mean, but you just cut the dowels a little shorter than the cake so it doesn't poke through. For the top cake, you can stick the dowels in from what will be the bottom so that you don't get any holes.

I hope that helps a little? icon_confused.gif
