Okay, I had designed this cake that the bottom layer would have the whole diamonds folded on the top (as it is) and the bottom border would be half diamonds coming up. The red "Love" will be going in front of the bottom and then the black swirly things will be sticking out of the cake. All the loops are for a red poofy bow on top and then red fondant will flow down the cake as well. With it as it is, I feel like the bottom diamonds may make the cake look to circus-y? know what I mean? I was thinking about maybe doing a silver dragee at the tip of the diamonds? Or maybe a black pearl bottom border? Should I have a bottom border for the top cake? Any help is so appreciated!
Edited to add: This board is not the final resting place. It's on cardboard too, it just gives more stability to move around.

Thanks! You all were right, no too circus-yy. I still have to finish, but here's where I am now!
Thanks for all your help!! The final product is in my photos!
