Has anyone tried whipped cream icing on Wassc. I've never made this cake before, but thought about trying it for a birthday cake tonight. It's had so many good reviews that I've been looking for an excuse to make it. I really like the Whipped Cream icing recipe on this site and would like to use it. Would this be a good combo with the cake and rasberry cream filling?

This will be a cake to die for taste wise. The icing is good all by itself... On ice cream....

Thanks for your responses. I made a big batch of Whipped Cream Icing last night and added a container of raspberry fruit spread to about 2 cups of the icing. Yummmmmm! I could've eaten the raspberry cream all by itself. The cake was really good, but stuck to the pan. Thankfully, the whipped cream icing was much easier to spread than BC so it covered my mistakes! I agree that this cake would be good with or w/o icing! thumbs_up.gif

Which whipped cream frosting are you all referring to?

Thanks,
