Someone posted a recipe for raspberry filling that had heavy cream in it. Is that just whipping cream? Or something else? Thanks!

Heavy cream and whipping cream can be used interchangably, so I think the answer to your question is essentially, "Yes!" icon_wink.gif Sounds like a good filling... where'd you find it?

i found a similar recipe that includes rasberries and heavy whipping cream but it also calls for cream cheese. but here's the recipe that i collected from this site.

ingredients:
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 8 ounce package softened cream cheese
a jar of seedless rasberry perserves ( add as much as you want)

directions:
1)whip up heavy cream in one bowl until stiff peaks
2)in another bowl, hip cream cheese until fluffy
3)fold in jar of perserves into cream cheese
4)fold cream cheese mixture into hipped cream
5)refridgerate for an hour.

hope that helps.

Ohhh you girls are great! Umm the recipe I got from here was in the Almond Sour Cream cake thread. It was cream, vanilla pudding and raspberrry preserves. The one with cream cheese sound sooo good though, lol, will have to try them both now, lol. Thanks again girls! thumbs_up.gif
