Circus cake
This cake had to be transported a long way by Christian's mom as I had a prior engagement and could not deliver, so the tent was a gumpaste plaque that she could stick in place one she arrived home!
My clown cake from Course I, third class. Not that jazzed about it but it's practice and that's what it's all about. I wish I had done the clowns in solid colors but our instructor wanted us to practice striping a bag. I'm sure my 3-year old will love it :)
This was my first cake done outside of the Wilton cake classes I took a couple of years ago. This is actually the reason I took the classes, so I could make my daughter a birthday cake that year. We learned the clown in Course 1, so that's the reason for this cake.
Another Wilton I cake. Hoping to see a progression as I post more pics in the future. I just started Wilton II last week.
Fondant covered with royal icing piping and tiny sugar pearls - all airbrushed with pearl finish. Flower topper was made out of gumpaste - includes, blue orchids, hydrangea, dahlia and ranunculus
Just lovely for a country wedding in Ft. Mitchell, Alabama. Fondant with buttercream piping.
This cake might look familiar, worked from bride's picture from internet. Real ribbon, everything else buttercream.
Chocolate wrap wedding cake with satin bow. Love how this turned out - and the bride had such a beautiful setting for the cake!!
Jake & the Neverland pirate cake I did for a boys 3rd birthday.
