I just made this shoe to put together a step by step tute. I will submit it to this site late on today if anyone hasnt done it already ;) I've put it away in a box in the dark, and will be using it for my sister's birthday cake in December.

I did this one from 2 loaf pans and carved it some, covered in dark choc. fondant, fondant makeup, not my fav. purse, but the client loved it, so that made me feel better.

Hot Pink And Black Zebra Cake And Cupcake Tower

I did this for my niece's 1st birthday. Mom requested a zebra cake on top with a crown to match the invitations. Underneath she wanted cupcakes with hot pink icing and princess crowns or a little flower. Cupcakes and cake are a scratch "funfetti" with cheesecake mousse filling. Iced in ABC

It's A Try!!

Cake for a lady who does the admin for the school rugby team. It was her 50th birthday hence the 50 on the shirt. (The try being scored by her team - of course!). Idea taken from Debbie Brown's website - she's a genius!!.

Chanel Purse Cake

This was my first attempt to make a purse cake. It was actually a trial run of a sweet 16 cake that I am doing next week. I learned a lot in the process of making it. The cake is made from 2 8X8 cake pans and it is covered and accented with MMF.

Dog Tracks

12" Devil's Food chocolate cake with buttercream icing made for a dog lover. The dogs are gum paste with royal icing "fur" piped on top. My husband said they looked like coconut macaroon dogs - they were cuter in person than they are in this picture. Dog house is RKT covered in fondant.

This was my first sculpted cake made for little "pirate" named Teygan. It remains one of my favorite cakes.

Asian Wedding Cake

This wedding had a Japanese theme. I made the origami cranes out of fondant and the cherry blossoms out of gumpaste. The Japanese symbols were cut out of fondant. The cake was iced smooth with buttercream, and the bottom of each tier was wrapped with black ribbon.
