I made this cake for a friend who was going in for her fourth surgery on her broken ankle. She was really bummed about having to have another surgery, but the cake seemed to cheer her up a little. I used 3 6" rounds torted, filled, and cut in half for the body of the cast, and one carved 6" round for the foot. Then cover with fondant and voila! Thanks for the great ideas from a few fellow cakesters : )
