does anyone know what kind of bucket i need to buy for food safe storage for icings? can it be pp plastic or HDPE plastic or does it matter....i noticed cake boss uses large grey garbage cans on his show to store buttercream...is that food safe too?

I would assume that any plastic container would be safe as long as you wash it and disinfect it before use. Do you ever buy large amounts of premade fondant? I buy the Satin Ice white-vanilla in 20 lb. tubs sometimes. The bucket it comes in is great for storage with things like that.
