My buttercream roses have jagged edges, should I thin my buttercream? It doesn't seem too thick?

Thank you,

Yup, my experience with jagged petals is that the butter cream is too thick. Add a bit of corn syrup or thin with a couple drops of water or milk. thumbs_up.gif

I agree with Mare2009, your buttercream maybe too thick. I also find that when the narrow end or the petal tip is too narrow, my flowers become jagged. The icing tip I have most is petal tip # 104 because I am always on the look out for a better tip.
