If I want to make a fondant ruffle around base of say tiered cakes, would I get a straight ruffle cutter as opposed to a Garrett frill cutter that does little circles - good for swag look... Roll out the strip and cut it and attach? Also do I just get eyelet cutters to get eyelet look? Can I put a colored ruffle with a white eyelet one on top? Attach all with R.I.? Sorry for so many questions....

There you are again my Patron of Patisserie! I will check out the sites. I was just confused because the Garrett cutter does it in the round and I saw one on sugarshack that also dose them straight but sugarshack doesn't have any explanations on anything....
So far the burlap sack covered cake end of January and then thinking of a multi-tiered fondant with ruffles for St. patty's day....
hopefully not all pipe dreams....
