Flavoring A Cake Question

I want to make sure I have remembered this correctly before i try it. I think someone said that you can replace the milk in your cake mix to create a new flavor. I am going to make a white cake (from scratch) and I bought some ameretto coffee creamer to give it some flavor.

Also what type of icing would you use for this type of cake?

Since I love amaretto, I'd probably make BCI and put some amaretto in it too! Janice

Here's a recipe that calls for powdered coffee creamer and water:

You could just sub your liquid creamer for the water.

You'd also have to omit the coffee/chocolate and add your amaretto.

I'd make amaretto frosting. These are good recipes:
