Do you use gum-tex in you MMF? I tried it once, added 1 teaspoon to about 12 ounces of fondant. It made the fondant harder to work with and I had to work real fast because it started to dry so quickly. I have no trouble when using gum-tex in fondant. Any tips?

I haven't tried gum tex in MMF. I use gum paste and MMF all the time. I haven't had problems with it drying too quickly. After reading you're having problems, I'll probably stick to gum paste.

I added some gum tex to MMF yesterday and it worked fine. I had to use Crisco on my hands, but today the crown is standing up on its own!!
