Could you make your own? Just get a piece of plywood cut to that size and cover it with fabric or foil. I'm pretty sure Lowes and Home Depot will do the cuts for you. I think a lot of people use foam board too which you can get at a craft store.
I didn't want to buy a square stand that I would not use much and I can't rent them here (you might check that option) So I posted a simular question last year. It was suggested to use the clear glass blocks from Lowes to make the stand. It is very cheap and you can use any number of blocks you need to make the size you want. There are a few examples in my pics and I will look for the origional thread because there were some very pretty set ups in it.
There are some great ideas here...

NEWTODECORATING - I love that idea. Your cakes are beautiful!
Check out your local Joann or other craft /flower store...
I was there (Joann) about two weeks ago based on a tip from someone here on CC- I bought square plant stands. They were on summer clearance for 80% off (so I got five total...two square and three round)- for less than $25!!!!!!!
You can see two of them in my photos -one is holding the Topsy Turvy cake, but you really can't see the fancy legs on that one...the other is the cowboy cake
