My dd had her 9th birthday party today with her friends. I made each girl a mini loaf cake to decorate as a bed(because it's a sleepover party). I made the headboard in the shape of lips(since it's a bratz theme) and had the cakes iced, ready to decorate with fondant. I have most of the different fondant cutter sets from wilton so I just rolled out a "bedspread" in the girls choice of color and then they got to cut out fondant to decorate the bedspreads. For the heads, I had bratz cupcake rings. The girls had a blast. I posted a picture of the one I made to show them what to do. If anyone is having a sleepover party, this is a great idea.(plus there's not a lot of leftover cake). I covered squares of cardboard for the cake boards and if they want to, they can take home the leftovers.
