I'd like to make my dad a fish cake for father's day. Is there a tutorial out there (I tried searching on here but I'm fairly new so I might have missed it).?

Collette Peter's has one in her book The Art of Cake Decorating. I made it and it is under beginner cakes and turned out really cute.

That is so funny to see this topic as I was just signing on to ask if anyone as ever done a Sailfish cake. I live East Coast Florida and have several request for a deepsea fishing cake. I'm not very good yet with fondant or gumpaste but does anyone have any ideas?
By the way, Wilton does have a fish pan that might help you with your fathers day cake.

Thanks! I'm really looking for Saltwater fish but I think that last Walleye cake that I looked was pretty close to a Dorado I think I could carve that possibly.

This site http://www.landbigfish.com/fish/default.cfm has photos of I think every fish out there. It might be helpful for others looking to do fish cakes.
