I was looking for a wedding gift online, and came across this...apparently their red kitchen aid 5 qt mixer is on sale for $135.00 plus shipping. That's a great deal, if only I needed one right now!

Hope this helps someone!

Bought one for my friend, but with tax (because there's a Dillard in GA) and shipping it was just an additional $20.00. That's a great deal! Just in case I didn't already say that icon_biggrin.gif

That is a great deal!

I heard that the Empire Red is discontinued so I wonder if they are clearing out their stock for new colors. Too bad I don't have money for a second one... i would love to have one.

Hopefully someone can cash in on the great deal!

Then I am glad I got my Red Rocket, as I so lovingly call it, when I did. I got the Pro model from Amazon a few months ago, also on sale. Love it, Love it, Love it!

Oh shoot I got excited too - but the other colors are all $229 right now - that's cheaper too, right?

Do you all think you need to have more than 1 of these? Or would just an extra bowl or two be enough for you? I've always wanted another bowl.....

I have had the same one for about 10 years now - and it still works just fine. I just thought it would be nice to have a spare for "just in case" !! If you could get it at the $135 - that is a BARGAIN. But alas.....I was too late. I won't have a "just in case" now. icon_sad.gif

That is a good price but check out the Kitchen Aid website...I bought a refurbished pro600 last month (with my first paid wedding cake order!!) for $238 no tax free shipping!! It works perfectly...the only thing I can find is it has one very small chip off the paint under the bowl surface!! Look in the outlet section of the KitchenAid site!!! Happy baking!!

Also thanks PattiCakes, I just looked on the kitchen aid refurb and they do have so GREAT deals! I will keep this in mind when I go to buy one, I also noticed that on some it showed out of stock, but if you chose a different color it will show in stock, just be sure to check the different colors everyone. icon_smile.gif
