Anyone able to buy Alpine or Sweetex in small quantities online??

I prefer to try Sweetex.

Sugarcraft I see has Alpine, but not really crazy about the high shipping cost... although I may find that everywhere I suppose.

Just curious if anyone out there has found a place to order from without getting 50lbs?

Thanks! icon_smile.gif

I got lucky and found a local bakery supply store that sells me my shortening, but before that I purchased 3lb buckets from www.eatyourdessertfirst.com. Shipping was about 1/2 of sugarcraft.

The Baker's Kitchen has 1 lb and 50 lb. cubes. Sweet Celebrations has 4lb. tubs and 50 lb. cubes.

Country Kitchen has some too.

I get mine from Country Kitchen and I think they repackage all their products using their logo, so not sure what the real brand is, but I have never had a problem and love hi-ratio shortening.

Sells in 3lb or 50lb I think.
