Does anyone know where I could find instructions on how to make gumpaste roses? I need to make some ivory coloured ones for a wedding cake. I think I need to get started soon because I have a whole pile of them to mkae and I've heard that they take a long time! Thanks so much.

Did you take Wilton II class? If not get the book they have them in there. They are easy to do and the book is cheap so that is most likely your best option unless you are looking to spend more than $5.

The book I have only has royal icing flowers, not gumpaste ones. There must be an on-line tutorial somewhere which could help????

We learned the gumpaste / fondant with gumtex rose in course 3. I'm still making mine.

Do you know how to make them from fondant? If so it is the same only you make the petals very thin. If not you just roll out a very small cone then make 3-5-7 balls the size of peas...each layer going up a little bit in size...then roll out each petal and put in place shaping each petal with a bit of a roll...or pinch to give a natural look. Keep it thin they ahrden quickly...after a few it should take about 10 minutes tops per rose.
