I am sorry to announce the passing of Susan O'Boyle-Jacobson. She was a renowned cake decorator, friend, and colleague. I have worked with Susan for almost a year here at American Cake Decorating magazine. Last night she suffered a heart attack and the paramedics were not able to revive her.
Her husband Phil Jacobson, is doing well and thanks everyone for their thoughts. If you feel the need to send cards, flowers, etc, please send them to the following address:

Hi Kimberly. We've spoken via email a couple times. My deepest condolences to both her work family and her family at home
I know she'll be missed. My father passed a few months ago under the same exact circumstances and I know the pain associated with a sudden loss. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

I just received word on the arrangements for Susan. There is also an scholarship fund being set up though the AI, where she worked as an instructor.
