or whatever the thing is called.

My neighbor just brought one over for me..she never used it.

I'm thinking if you tilt that thing the cake is going to slide right off, despite that top it has on it.

Anyone use one of those things??

I like to use it for writing and designs on the sides of the cake. I only tilt it to the first one. I won't go down to the second "tilt". As long as you don't leave the cake there forever, it shouldn't fall off. At least I haven't had one yet. If the cake is top heavy, I won't tilt it though.

I have used one and now it is relegated to the Wilton Junk Pile. The top is hard to clean. Something happened to the top from the water. It like buckeled. If anyone uses an electric one, I would love to hear about those.

Are these plastic? I bought a metal turntable from a restaraunt supply....one of the best investments I have made.

Cheers,
Shirley

I have a wilton one. I have used it on both tilts. I haven't had any problems with the cakes sliding. Clean up is easy. I love it.
