Hi All,
Has anyone ever tried "Veggi Art"? I just bought myself the kit and oh this is great fun!! I thought I'd share my creation and see if anyone else has seen it or is doing it. It's funny because I bought the kit yesterday afternoon and last night on Sugar Rush, the guy who invented it was on showing how to do it. What coincidence!
I think it would be so fun at a party. It's all edible. ( but the rind leaves) I saw some awesome creations on a cruise I was recently on so that's what inspired me.
Thanks for looking!

Your arrangement looks yummy KimAZ! How did you prevent your fruit from turning brown and looking blech?
I have a kit also and am looking forward to trying it. Can you believe I found it at Dollar General store for $5!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you everyone! This was so much fun and so easy. I got the "Veggy Art" kit at Big Lots for $5!! What a steal! The cutters alone cost far more if I had to buy them individually.
I didn't put anything on the fruit to keep it from discoloring. It's watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, zucchini, carrots, radish, celery stalks & watermelon rind leaves. There are so many other fruits and vegetables you can use too. The works of art I've seen online are nothing less than amazing! Check out some of the links the ladies posted above.

How funny! I havn't seen this in years!!
When I was little, my mom and I used to do "flower" boquets (veggie) as appetizers for all of our Thanksgivign celbrations. It was LOADS of fun!! I know I have all my garnishing tools somewhere...
That is a beautiful arrangement. I have never tried it with fruit but have been itching too. I usually make flower bouquets out of vegetables for parties and cookouts. The vegetable ones aren't much work and are alot of fun to do so this year I think I will try both one vegetable bouquet and one fruit bouquet. Boy my daughter is going to have lots of pretty food at her graduation party this year!
