I've got a wedding cake to do in two months and the bride wants sugar paste gerber daisies. At this point, I'm cluless. I've never used sugar paste. Anyone have any helpful hints, suggestions, or anything?

Thanks!

I know that you should be able to find something on line. I have seen it somewhere, I know. I will try looking for it but for now here is a link to making sunflowers. It is like working with clay so if you cannot find directions undering cake stuff try looking under how to sculpt clay. I will see what I can find. icon_smile.gif

If what you're after is something like what bjbranco described, then i may be able to help you with some tips. Here is a picture of some i made
in September last year. They were made with gumpaste.
Send me a PM if you want more info.

HI

I'm just wondering what cutters you need? I can find the big one pictured on top left corner but don't know what the other ones are called....if anyone can tell me I would really appreciate it-also where I can purchase them!

Thanks!

Those cutters make all the difference in my opinion. They vein the petals at the same time as cutting them. Very easy and realistic.
