Hi, all ~

I looking to do some ribbon roses for a cake this weekend. I've tried before, after reading Wilton directions but they didn't turn out. Anyone have any tips for me?

Thanks,
Julie

I assume you are talking about the roses made from strips of fondant? I have made these once and have seen pictures. I rolled out fondant, cut strips about 3-4 inches wide (depending on size of rose wanted) then folded the strip in half lengthwise and then rolled it up! I have seen them where they don't fold them and just roll the strips. It depends on the look you want.
