How do I find those molds to make buttons for a baby shower cake? I have a client that brought in a picture she likes and it has those fondant buttons on it.

I made buttons before. I had to improvise, and it worked out well. I rolled out my fondant fairly thick, maybe 1/4 in. Then I went into my husbands tool collection and found something (I still don't know what it was) that had a circular handle that was just slightly smaller than the button. I cut out my buttons using a basic circle cutter, then wrapped the tool handle in plastic wrap and made an impression in the middle of that circle. I then used a toothpick to poke holes in the buttons.
It wasn't hard, and didn't take that much time. You can see a pic of it in my photos. Its the one with the crescent moon and the two sleeping babies.

This is what I did. I took and rolled a small ball of fondant then took one of the disk from my clay gun (the wone with 4 holes) and pressed it into my ball and viola a button.

I think I read a post on here where someone said that they made the buttons by using a round cutter, then using a smaller round object like a pop bottle lid to mash down on the top. It being a little smaller would make the edges bulge up for the edge of the buttons. they then used a skewer or toothpick to make the button holes.
I hope I explained this so you could understand it. Sometimes I'm the only one that can understand me. haha

mcalhoon! I just read you post, that is even better!
