Don't know if this will help you, but I just made a white chocolate cake from a box mix. Following is the recipe.

1 box Betty Crocker White Cake Mix
1 small box Jello Brand White Chocolate Instant Pudding
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup canola oil
4 eggs

Since there is a box of pudding added to the cake mix, the baking time will take a tad bit longer. Depending on size of cake, it may take 5 to 10 additional minutes.

If you wanted it to be richer, you could use a french vanilla cake and the white chocolate instant pudding. I used white because I had a request for white cake and wanted to add a special touch to it. It was really good!

Hope this helps!

Hello,
For my white chocolate cake. Here is the recipe I got from the Cake Doctor Book some years ago.

Ingredients

1 six ounce bar of white baking chocolate (I use Bakers white chocolate at Walmart)
1 box of white cake mix
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla flavor
1 cup water
1 stick of butter.

Method
melt the white chocolate with the butter in the microwave in 30 sec increments till all is melted. Be careful with this because if you over heat the white chocolate, it turns hard.
Mix the white chocolate and butter mixture with the remaining ingredients and bake on 350F till a done.

Alcohol substitution.
For a liquor white chocolate cake, I substitute Godiva white chocolate liquor for the cup of water and also add a tsp of brandy flavor.

i don't know what size they are, they are like 6" long by 3" wide by maybe 1/4" thick? they seem to be pretty standard size to me. i just buy them in the lindt chocolate store.

I love the white chocolate whisper cake (white cake) from the cake bible.

Here's the recipe:

Melt:
6 oz white chocolate (170gr)

Lightly beat together
4 1/2 eggwhites (135 gr)
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Combine in a mixer bowl:
3 cups sifted cake flour (300gr)
1 cup + 3 Tbsp sugar (240gr)
1 Tbsp + 11/2 tsp baking powder (22 gr)
3/4 tsp salt (7gr)

Mix to combine for 30 secs

Add in:
9Tbsp butter (128 gr)
3/4 cup milk

Beat on medium speed for 90 seconds

Add in egg/milk mixture in 3 batches, beating for 20 seconds after each addition.

Add melted chocolate and beat to incorporate.

Pour into two 9" pans (greased, lined and floured)

Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree F oven for 25 to 35 mins.
