Toopy And Binoo
A cake for my sons b-day. Chocolate WASC with Cookies and creme Buttercream. I didnt have a lot of time to make this, the kids were sick so I had 2 uninterrupted hours in which to work in the wee hours of the night before my sons 2nd birthday party. Didnt quite get toopy's head right. the size is off, and the angle of the nose is wrong :(

Kindergarten Grad
Cake I made for my son's kindergarten graduation. It was soooo sooo soooo horribly humid the night I made this.I thought for sure it wasnt going to turn out. the sides slipped a bit. but what can you do! I made 24 matching cupcakes to go along with it, Apparently I should have made more, there were tears from several of the kids who didnt end up getting one. ( so heartbreaking to see the little ones cry :( )

Graduation Toppers
A set of six graduation cupcake toppers I made for my sons Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony today. There were 24 in total, 4 of each colour, and a "matching" cake to go with them. The kids loved them so much when they ran out there were 4 kids that didnt get one (there were about 50 people in attendance parents siblings ect) that the kids actually started to cry. I was heartbroken I felt so bad! I thought for sure the parents would eat the cake instead. Thankfully the 4 that were left without cupcakes were part of the graduating class and had their names written on the cake. I was able to cut it to make sure hey each got their name to eat. They felt pretty special then!

Mickey And Minnie
Vanilla cake with Vannilla Buttercream. Made for 3 year old twins Made on probably the most humid day we've had this summer. I just could NOT get the fondant to roll out. It tore and stuck and ripped and just plain gave me nothing but trouble. I had to place it on in panels, which changed the entire look of the cake. I was so upset sending this cake off, I gave the mom a pretty big discount! I figured out a little too late that mixing a small amount of gumpaste in to the fondant improved pliability... Oh well...live and learn!
