I had big plans for this cake, but ran out of time. The idea is so cute but wanted more details and wanted the pot covered with fondant but where I live supplies finishes quickly in the store. The Teapot is a vanilla cake baked in 3d ball pan. Gum paste sprout and handle made in advance to dry. Styrofoam base. I even made the cupcake stand. Had more cupcakes to put but no time to decorate. :/
Sand castle cake, chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream (shortening) frosting. Gum paste shells and starfish. It all held up good a whole day at the beach.

I find it a little bit difficult to bake the 3d bear cake but I'm sure with practice it will be perfect. Covered with buttercream it looks fine:) two round tiered cake with 3d bear on top. Autumn theme!!
I wanted to try the piped roses all over a cake. It was as easy as "they" say and it looks nice. I also wanted to try to make royalicing butterflies. These are both great techniques to use for decorating!!!! The big flower is made from gumpaste.
This is a golden vanilla cake in 4tiers with (only shortening)vanilla buttercream frosting and white fondant. All details are made from gumpaste, birds, cross, flowers, bows....this is the biggest cake I have made, I live in a country with high humidity so there are a lot of challenges working with fondant for example.
This was actually a baptism cake, and the first "big" cake I ever made. There were some challenges working with fondant in high humidity. Everything is edible made out of gumpaste, except I put a stick to hold the cross on top

Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The lines on spiderman and webs are black royal icing. Fondant for the eyes. I made the head stand out by cutting out a thin piece of cake and piped over it.
Camouflage Cake was the request, so I made an army tank with camouflage colors piped on, inside is a vanilla cake colored in camouflage color and mixed together. Doughnuts and oreo cookies as weels. Fondant details in black.
hookah/shisha/argilly cake on top of a pillow cake, all covered in fondant. The cord is candy sticks. I painted the parts that are usually metal with gold glaze. Its all edible, except for the support stick in the middle covered with fondant painted gold.
Vanilla cake in two tiers butter cream and fondant. The princesses and details from Gumpaste. all edible. the skirts for the dresses are gumpaste on top of Krispytreats. For Next cake Im gonna have to find my camera, the phone camera is not that great.
The birthday cake was requested to be a mix of Batman and Man.United football team. This is was I came up with and could make in the short time I had. The cake is chocolate, with half chocolate butter cream and half vanilla buttercream. Gumpaste city/house and tree cutouts as well as the logos. The football is made from cake, it could have been better but turned out ok. next time I will use a bowl or a globe pan for that.
I had to make another sponge bob cake, this one is chocolate mud cake with vanilla all shorting butter cream. the characters are made out of gum paste. I also made a few sponge bob cupcake faces for the same birthday boy.
Chocolate cake with vanilla crisco butter cream (high humidity here) Next time I will be braver and add more milk in the buttercream as it was a little sticksy to spread on the sides. Some details are fondant, such as, eyes, green dotts, teeth and socks.
The cake was actually for a baptism for two twin boys. The mother had sent me a picture of what she wanted the cake to look like. This was my first paid cake I think it was a good start and it can only get better. I was so so happy that the booties, cross and the flowers dried as I have had problems before in the humidity where I live.
This was one of the first cakes I made, I did not have all decoration thing that I wish I had. However the birthday boy was very happy and that is the important thing. Where I live we have LIMITED things for cake decorating and I had no time to order and ship (island life, tricky). Optimus prime is made with cake and vanilla wafers covered with sugar paste. The cake is suppose to be a truck tire.
Birthday cake for a 3yr old girl. Vanilla cake with strawberry 'faux fondant' and tinkerbell cut out of gumpaste (that NEVER dried due to high humidity here). Any tips on that? :-)
Lemon cake with buttercream frosting (made to hold up in high humidity) tinted sky blue for cake and kept white for the clouds. The Carebear (funshine) and his star friends + the rainbow are made out of Gum-paste. The Sun is cake covered with yellow frosting with spaghetti as rays. Great fun to make.
