This was a fun cake to make.... I made this for twin boys. The road is fondant and the sides of the cake are printed on edible icing sheets cut to size.
Made with the Wilton football cake pan. Cake is sitting on a bed of colored coconut.
This cake was for my grandmother's 90th birthday. I think it would have been prettier if I had used fondant, but Gran doesn't like it.
Basic tiered design, vanilla cake, BC with fondant, live flowers and a glass etched topper.
This cake was a basic vanilla cake with BC frosting. I couldn't find a cross that I liked, so I eneded up molding one from colored chocolate. I made several crosses, this one is the only one that made it out of the mold in 1 piece and it had air bubbles in it. Oh well, better luck next time.
