Patriotic Eagle
This is a cake I did for a friend's son who just earned Eagle Scout. The cake was a huge hit! It was made from a 12" and 8" square iced in buttercream and adorned with white fondant stars and red fondant strips. The eagle on top was molded by hand out of rice krispy treats, covered first in buttercream. Then I used a leaf cutter to cut all the 'feathers' out of fondant as well as the eyes and beak.

I made this laying down puppy cake for a "Puppy Shower"...a single lady was adopting her first puppy and her co-workers threw her a puppy shower. The puppy was multi-colored black, tan and white so I tried to make the cake sort of the same. The bones were molded from candy clay. Everybody at the shower was amazed by the adorable cake and I've gotten at least 10 more cake orders since then from people at that shower.

I made this for a little girl's birthday... she loves dolphins. I decorated the cake to look like an ocean theme. The dolphins were hand molded out of fondant, inserted lollipop sticks and set to dry. Once dry, then I coated each with luster dust so they'd sparkle. Cake sides were decorated with seaweed, fish and crabs. The cake border was crushed graham cracker crumbs for the ocean bottom and candy shells were molded and brushed with luster dust.
