Stargazer With Gerberas
I made these for a friend's bridal shower. I used the tutorial for the Stargazer lily that is here on CC and love it. I was happy with the results and so was the bride. She liked them so much she asked for them on her wedding cake too. I did eventually color the center of the daisies yellow...maybe I'll upload a pic of the cake too.

Pp's Romantic Rose Tower
My version of Peggy Porschen's Rose Tower. I used fondant for the roses instead of marzipan and thanks to the forums (can't remember who) I used candy melts instead of RI to stick them to the tower. This cake took me a week but the receipient's reaction was totally worth it!

October Birthdays
It was DH's month to bring a birthday cake to work again. Of course I wanted more for it (like little arms coming from the ghost and a more defined hat/top) but had to put this together "last minute." I thought it was an original idea until I logged on here and saw everyone else's versions...all great by the way!

True Blue
First time trying to decorate dummies...I didn't like it very much. I guess it just takes practice though. This was just a practice cake to show to a potential "customer." I originally wanted to model it after the winter cake on the tutorial section but realized I wasn't quite up to it. Instead of snowflakes on top I made fondant hearts and curls. Thanks for looking!

"little People" Birthday Girls
I made these "Little People" girls to go on the birthday girls' smash cakes. They are fondant. The girls (and parents) loved them but they wouldn't stand upright on the cakes...bummer. I was excited that the two-year-olds recognized that the dolls were supposed to be them!

Circus Little People Cake
The birthday girls love Little People. Mother suggested we just put the toys on the cake so I made it personal by making "Little People" birthday girls to go on their smash cakes (I'll upload that pic next.) This cake is iced in BC. I did it using the upside-down technique. Time consuming...looks pretty good but I think I'll just perfect my technique with hot water. The circus tent is RCT covered wtih fondant.

Things You're Not Supposed To Pack!
Close up of a cake I did for my hubby's office. It is a piece of luggage filled with the stuff you're not supposed to pack. The cake is covered in Satin Ice (which I don't think I'll work with again) and the accent pieces are made of fondant. I don't know if I was more tickled over the prescription botte or the keys next to it.
