35Th Anniversary Cake
This is a recreation of my parents' original wedding cake, for their 35th anniversary this weekend. Can't wait to see their faces tomorrow when they see it!! Only thing different is the topper, which I purchased from Wilton, but is similar to their original. All buttercream, with royal flowers.

Rubber Duckie, You're The One!
Cake for a baby shower this past weekend - the faucet handles actually worked and turned!! Fondant covered cake - wilton shimmer gel for the water - luster dusted fondant balls for the bubbles - only thing inedible was the rubber duckie! Special thanks to Salpi and her cake titled "Anita's Ducky Cake" for the inspiration!!!

Chesapeake Bay Cake
Cake for Boss' Day - she LOVES the bay and has a house on the water. Buttercream icing, with granulated brown sugar & graham cracker crumbs mixed for "sand"; white chocolate seashells, dusted with assorted luster dusts; rest of the scene is from dollhouse furniture from a local craft store!

Megan's 1St Birthday
Cake for my daughter's 1st birthday!! Each tier was a different flavor, all covered in buttercream and then fondant with fondant accents. I tried to make the royal Icing tiara, but it shattered right before I placed it on the top of the cake!! So we improvised with an extra tiara bought for her to wear that day.

Texas Hold'em
Texas Hold'em poker cake for my brother's birthday - he loved it!! My husband plays poker too, and helped me select the right cards for a tense "show-down" for the last two hands of cards!! Cake is half chocolate-fudge, half fudge-marble - with chocolate buttercream middle and vanilla buttercream over the rest. All fondant decorations, with exception of the beer can candles!!
