Ninjago Kai
For my Son, who is of course a HUGE Lego fan. He was thrilled, and wanted to eat his whole head, (really mommy I'm THAT hungry. And I'm 6 now) but mean mommy said no! Imagine that! Tutorial and photo help from "CakedinSugar" (link to the original below) http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2365048/ninjago-kai-lego-man

Oasis, Vintage Swirl Wedding Cake
So, I don't really know what that piping style is.. but that's what I typed into google to find swirls and piping that I liked! So its a combination of all the things I saw and the decorations on my cousins wedding cake. Just MMF, with black royal icing on the outside! I made the topper as well to look like the bride and groom. The base of the topper is a candle holder covered in clay and cut out.

May The Fork Be With You!
Grooms cake for my BIL's wedding. A gift from his beautiful bride! 50/50 modeling chocolate/MMF for the hands, feet, and head. A friend of mine was a life-saver with a 12" Yoda! Not that you can tell, but the lightsaber glowed as well! :) (Just not in front of the gorgeous window)

Twin Baby Shower, Filling The Nest!
My first super tall cake. I love all the looks I got from the hardware guys when I went in for materials! (I'm the only one who does stuff like this around here) the birds are made of clay so the mommy-to-be could keep them! Lots of fun, and no problems moving it or setting it up!

Perry The Platypus
Super fun cake that I made for a friend's son. He's a big perry the platypus and Phineas & Ferb fan! Bill, tail & arms are krispie treats. It was very hot and he kind of started getting a bit melty...and tricky to transport, but a complete hit anyway. Thanks to the eyes of a 9 year old!

Moving Water... Literally!
Part 2 of 2, This cake went along with the meadow cake (in my gallery if you're interested..) Made my own piping gel to use in the waterfall, but it must have still been too warm because it was literally flowing down and off the cake! Finally slowed and I "dammed" The gel with a cool line of BC at the bottom. Still turned out pretty good, and the birthday girl said it was the best water ever.

Jolly Rancher! Its A Coral Cake
Hmm.. I think the title says it all. I got a silipat for Christmas that year, and the only thing I could think of to use it for other than (boo hiss... ) melting my own sugar... was to melt my candy stash! Lots of fun! Turned out great. Even pretended to blow sugar and make a fish. (without a heat lamp, i had to settle for a small fish. but there was air in it so who cares?) Haha! I felt like a kid with a candle. It was fun, it was yummy. hoorah!

Metal Cupcakes! Just Kidding.
Some cupcakes made for a metal recycling company. Used an old piping tip and bent it into shape with some pliers for the nuts, the washers were made with the smaller circle on the tip, Quick and simple! The guys thought they were fun. (and didn't laugh at me for having to decorate them with SOMETHING...) but DH... these ARE simple!

Blue With Yellow Roses
Short notice for some friends of ours, they were getting married quickly, but I wanted them to have a cake to remember! Lace around the bottom of the cake, and yellow roses on top, with dogwood flowers on the side. I got the inspriation from here, but forgot to write it down! I would love to give credit if anyone knows or recognizes the cake!

Biglin Wedding Cake
Gerber daisies (my first expirament with them!) MMF covered, with MMF ribbon. Chocolate cake with Italian Meringue buttercream (its late, I Hope I spelled that right.) Fun to make, but scary because of the corners! I feel like I hit my groove with this one. But there's always a catch. The kitchen I thought I'd have to assemble on site, turned out to be a bar freezer, I felt like I was on a cooking show and they'd opened box #1! All went well with amazing assistance from my DH!
