Hi everybody,
as you can see i am totally new here. Found the site by accident and it is absolutely awesome! Thanks for the creators of the site.
So here i was started to put up some of my cake pics. Then after i had posted some i realised there is a contest for purple. Now, what i did is that i posted my purple cake somewhere else. Can i delete it and poste it in the competition? Or i can't do that?Or maybe i can have it in two places, but that sounds little silly to have 2 of the same pics in the gallery. Or maybe i should just wait for the next competition and add one then.
Thanks for your help!
Hi Liis,
I believe Jackie (the site administrator) will have to do this for you. Just pop her an email/pm and let her know which one and she can move it for you.
Welcome!!! You will LOVE it here!!!! Everyone is just FANTASTIC and SUPER helpful!!!

Liis, Welcome to CC!! It's great that you are a newbie & are ready to jump right in!! I love your attitude!!
I agree with you on what you said about a contest cake being put in more then 1 gallery.
I think your contest pic should only be allowed in the contest gallery~ Probably started trouble with this post but that's my opinion
Hey, Tina, I agree that the contest cakes should only be posted in the Contest gallery. The problem IMHO is that so many cakes were already in the gallery before being entered in the contest and not baked/decorated specifically for the contest.
You have to admit though, with the photos in both places it makes it fairly easy to locate and figure out who baked the cakes that are entered! Of course it is even easier to identify bakers if their name is on the cake photo! So much for anonymity!
I'm also wondering why some people are posting Halloween cakes now, when it is possible we will be having a Halloween cake contest the end of the month. Janice
Jackie pretty much told us what was coming up in another post: (quote)
Plus I thought it would be a great way to allow a lot of people to enter, because for the next few months the contests are all based largely on the holidays.
At the end of October we have our Halloween contest, followed by our Harvest/Thanksgiving, following by our Holidays/Christmas contest, followed by our New Year's Contest.
With a generic theme like purple, it leaves more people the opportunity to enter thier cake in a contest.
