How Do You Make Images Out Of Candy Melts???

It's me again! I keep on hearing about using candy melts for creating images. Is this like using royal icing? Can someone please help me understand this? Thank you!
Not sure about creating images. Candy melts can be used in candy molds or they can be made into candy clay which can then be molded into different shapes. Hopefully someone else may be familiar with what you are seeking.
I use candly melts in molds. But just about anything can be a mold, cookie cuttes, parts of cake pans, etc.
Hope this helps!
I have repaireed large pieces with a heat gun before and it works.
BTW love your ferret Di I have some myself!

Thanks... hubby and I both wonder if there was life before ferrets. That's Luigi on the left, Mario on the right... during a cream cheese icing taste test!
What blittle6 said. My son (age 9) and I make them ~ you can see some in my photo gallery (deer, sponge bob, jasmine). Just pipe the outline and flood with chocolate. You can also use the pre-colored candy melts so you don't need candy colors. After filling the picture in add a layer to the back of the picture to thicken it and make everything "stick" together like you are making a BCT. Flip the chocolate over and you're all done! It's easy.
Good Luck!
