Cake Boss Fondant Vs Duff Fondant

Have any of you tried both? I had a package of each and tried both recently. I've had Duff's in the past and it's much better than any of the stuff I'm able to get locally. It's an off white but takes reasonably well and was easy to work with.
Buddy's was much whiter and softer. I didn't need to soften it in the microwave like I did with Duff's. It ripped easier though. Since I gave up sweets for Lent, I wasn't able to taste it,
Has anyone else compared both?
AYes, the only reason being they are normal commercial brands re-branded and marked up cause they slapped a famous name on them. Buddy is Satin Ice, Duff is Fondarific. I personally use Fondarific for everything, including gum paste and modeling chocolate. Everything tastes sooo much better. I think Satin Ice tastes like chemicals, but that's just me. And Fondarific stays soft much longer while rolling it out so it's much easier to work with. Satin Ice develops a gross elephant skin, or crust, once it dries but Fondarific doesn't. Hope this helps!
I keep the darker of Duff's colors around, purple, black and red and find that it's more like candy clay. Love working with it.
For various reasons, if you like Duff fondant I'd recommend that you give the business to Fondarific instead.
