So I have a three tiered cake that needs tiny brush embroidery. A lot of tiny brush embroidery. Which then needs to be painted gold.
What am I doing... am I prepping the cake, my area, making royal icing, pulling bags together........anything cake related.
Well sort of ... I am on "CAKE"Central....
That counts right....
Anyone else procrastinating today and what are you supposed to be doing ;) .. cake wise that is .
Aha ha I'm awful for that too! ..."oh I have weeks to make those gumpaste figures......" suddenly the cake is only 7 days away with 5 other orders and I forgot to but gumpaste! oops! lol
....stop reading this and get to work! lol
Am I in the garage paining cake stands or packaging others for shipping? No...I am on CC. AM I cleaning up from the Italian Cream Cake I finished this morning. No, I am on CC. People may wonder why I am on here so much. For one it's a terrific site with a lot of great people. The biggest reason though is I am a BIG FAT PROCRASTINATOR!!

AI wish I had cakes to do. I'm on cake hiatus right now because I'm holed up in the smallest apartment in the world and most of my stuff is in storage :(
For the first time in about six months I have no cakes to do for this weekend, just the usual load of cupcakes for the storefront.
So, instead of doing all the paperwork that has been piling up since god knows when as I have always been busy with cakes ... .... .... I am procrastinating... sigh ... oh the big wide world of the interwebs....

Sorry! That stinks, I know the feeling though. When we moved, everything went into storage and even when I got it all out, no one knew me from a hole in the wall. I went a while baking random cakes for family.. ;) Hope your time is short and you will be baking away soon!

I'm consoling myself with the knowledge that I will be unpacking it all in my new house when it's finally built later this year!
