AYes I am being a bit hard on her because she is so dishonest and runs her business like crap. There is a yelp review all about that janky leopard cake and looks like she cant even own up to it. Apparently the cake tasted as bad as it looked. She ignores or lies about cake photo stealing. I find it despicable. Re: the witch hunt. When you set up your whole Fb and youtube ad on foolery, fakery, and thievery , then insult the online cake community's intelligence by trying to pass a mannequin off as modeling chocolate then you are going to get a backlash. I find her cakes to be tacky, poorly executed, and sloppy slopperton
Alright, she wasn't honest about it. Probably just wanted some free "press" and didn't realize how obvious it was to us.

The 1st thing that made me think this was a mannequin was the placement of the top row of the pearl necklace. Why would you place a necklace up there unless it is to hide where the doll head attaches to the neck.
And where is the OP?? She has not even TRIED to defend herself!
What defense or reply... she is busted for trying to pass it off as cake.....
Interesting idea though a life size barbie wonder mold.
I would be crapping my pants to sit at that wedding with that creepy thing just...hanging around. She looks like she is being put up for sacrifice.
AWell done, would love to see your progress photos. How did you make the over the shoulder lace? And how did you attach the arms so they didn't drop? I have problems with arms on small things.

I finally had a chance to go check out her FB page. You're right - she makes cute cakes but the caliber of what is on her page just isn't what it would take to make a human figure that flawless. (On a side note...You have to at least check your spelling.

Since I've only ever seen it spelled that way on cakewrecks.com I had no clue it was a real thing!

I don't know; I'm skeptical about that misspelling being intentional. Not that I don't believe you, BrandisBaked, I just wonder about it. ??
I`ve heard it plenty before, and seen it on a few cakes as well.

AI've written it on several cakes over the years at the request of customers. I can't say for sure what the circumstances were for the cake the OP made, but I know it's not unheard of.
I'm a total dork, I write it in every graduation card I give out. (I even underline the 'grad' bit, in case people miss it, and to make it obvious that I am aware I am spelling it wrong, lol)

I thought it was a misspelling as well. I have seen it misspelled so many times that I just make that assumption. If it were me, instead of letting people think I couldn't spell, I would have put quotes around the word or I would have made the D stand out.

I saw that too. That is one shocking cake! I also checked out the OP's facebook page..still "borrowing" other people's photo's of cakes.
Makes you wonder what people think when the cake they order from stolen pictures does not even closely resemble those pictures in terms of quality.
