How or where you store food coloring and dusts? Right now I have them in plastic containers (one for dusts and brushes and one for colors) with lids so I can stack them. But I'm not super happy with this arrangement, looking for storage ideas.

AThat's actually a good question, I store my food colouring in the cupboard as everybody else uses them. My dusts I also store in a plastic box- I have been thinking about getting one of those plastic drawer thingies so everything can have its place HTH :D

I use clear plastic boxes with clear lids, just slightly higher than the containers (I too have one for pastes and one for dusts). Most of the colours I use have the label on the side of the container, so I write what colour it is with a sharpie on the lid, so much easier to find what I am looking for!

Hahaha, I use plastic containers for mine too! One for gels, one for dusts and one for liquid colours. In a perfect world, I'd have my own cake studio at home with dedicated drawers and shelves for everything. Not possible though!

I dump them out of the original container into little bead containers, and store them in a bead drawer.

I just bought an insert at a local bead shop, looks like this, https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSMROHS9znBdH4M50EghNGO-qFHCUkrYTUcO4axqkpXTXWq9527

The circle sin mine are smaller though, I think it has 100 slots.

Those are perfect! I have several of the dusts with pop on lids and I'm always paranoid that I'm gonna end up with dust all over the counter when I'm trying to get the goofy lids off!
