Hi everyone! This question is purely a preference question, or maybe more of an inquiry as to your own preference.
When you are looking at tier sizes do you most prefer a 2" space or a 4" space with tier sizes? So for example a 14 12 10 or do you prefer a 4" difference? Like a 14 10 6 ? These are just examples, is there an rule or code to this? I understand that the servings that are needed for the cake will somewhat dictate the tier sizes, and I know that it does effect the decorating space between the tiers and the edges of the cake for placing flowers and such. Just curious what your personal rule of thumb or preference is when choosing tier sizes.
