Rice/wafer Paper In Edible Image Printer?
Decorating By doramoreno62 Updated 28 May 2013 , 11:04pm by DeliciousDesserts
I have read some people do this. I'm scared it will start to dissolve while printing due to the moisture in the ink and then my printer will get mucky!
I usually use icing sheets for edible images but I have quite a few sheets of wafer paper. They are less expensive to use but not if it's going to mess up my printer.
Anybody out there with any experience doing this, good or bad?
I had 2 different printers - and no I cannot remember now which ones they were but one printed wafer paper perfectly whereas the other got all gummed up :(
I have used wafer paper in my edible image printer many, many times without a problem. It will not dissolve in the printer but you do have to be careful not to get it wet.
The only thing I don't care for with the wafer paper is the image isn't as sharp as it is on an icing sheet.
