Hi, I'm fairly new to cake decorating and hoping someone can help me with a cake I will attempt for my sons birthday. I'm going to make a batman Lego cake and just wanted to know what the best paste would be to make the logo to stick on the side of the cake. Would plain sugarpaste/fondant be best or something stronger like flower paste? Thank you icon_smile.gif

To get the answer you have to let people know more.
What frosting will you use for the cake (Buttercream, fonfant, ganache)
And what are you making the legos out of

Thank you..The cake will be two tiers, both covered in fondant. Bottom tier I will cut out some lettering and stick on to the side of the cake and top tier I will cut out two batman logos to again stick on the side of the cake if that makes sense..

You will do fine using straight fondant/sugarpaste for what you describe. To make them stick to the fondant iced cake, just *very lightly* moisten the back of each piece you want to stick to the sides.
