My niece has asked me to do their wedding cake at a beach hotel venue. They apparently allow "outside" cakes providing the bride picks an alternate item from the menu to "make up the difference". My question is what should I find out from the venue in regards to setting up and probably million other things I don't know about? My thoughts so far were: Time frame allowed for set up/ where to deliver the cake/will they do the cutting....what else? Obviously, this will be a first "venue" delivery for me & I don't want to do anything to mess up her day (thankfully, it's a simple design cake ). Thanks for any advice!
