Anybody have any ideas about a baby shower cake with camo incorporated in it? I have done a camo pattern for groom's cake but never a baby shower. TIA--
You could do a onesie that's camo. http://www.cindascreativecakes.com/Home/homeframe.htm
(under baby showers, page 2)
Not sure if you wanted to do it in BC or MMF...probably easier to patch together the colors with MMF.
That, or you could do the baby cake (page 4 of the same website) and just do the diaper in camo. Good luck, I'm interested to see what you come up with!
I like the camo onsie idea. There are some very cute cakes on this site in the baby shower gallery that have a onsie draped over a sheet cake along with booties or a cap.

This one is in one of the Wilton yearbooks.
You could make the carriage out of fondant and place it on the cake. It would not have to be basketweave like these pictures. That way you could get the camo look easier.
Finally got the camo baby shower cake delivered. I must have tried 5 different designs, and even tried to use the sprays to make the camo pattern as someone has posted in their photos. Check out my photos to see the finished product--just ended up using BC.
