It is late here & maybe I am just overthinking this icon_confused.gif but do you think there is a fee for the inspection (of your home kitchen)? Or is that what the application and fee is for the food establishment? icon_confused.gif

When I had a home bakery, the fee was $75. I have a commercial kitchen now, and the fee is $285. Both were for a year's license, although they inspect every 6 months.

I've never paid a fee for the actual inspection...but the liscence cost me $275. I have a commercial kitchen.

You could always call your inspector and ask.

Here in NC the inspection was free. I had to get a license $50.00, and a Home occupation permit $70.00.
