It's probably only sold in the US and Canada right now...I don't know if they plan to sell it over seas.Did you try some of the UK cake decorating sites??
Hmmm..Maybe a relative or friend or someone you know could buy it for you in the US and ship it to you in the UK.They are about $449.99 here which is about almost 1000 pounds there.A little costly for me but the idea is neat if you think you will use it enough!
I was in my local craft shop that stocks the regular cricut machine and she said she can order me one, her supplier stocks them so they are available in the uk - I would try a regular craft shop and see if they can order you one.
I didn't ask the price but I'm going back tomorrow so I can ask.
When I first heard about this machine I almost jump for joy at the idea of having everything done for me it sounded too good to be true. I finally got the Cricut Cake yesterday, watch the DVD that came in the box plugged it in for a test drive and confirmed that it is too good to be true ;o(.
I had already read the mixed reviews it has gotten but was hoping they were wrong, I am very very disappointed with the results I've had so far. They in no way shape or form include adequate instructions in the box, I found more informative stuff right here from all of you.
What I've learned so far:
Fondant is almost impossible I read here to freeze it, I did this overnight and that did help slightly but still not ideal.
Gum paste rolled fresh, not great! I read here to leave it dry 15 minutes that did help but once dried it got wrinkled when it got cut. The underside in every case was nicest so important to press flip with the font buttons.
Edible image frosting sheets tried this with so so success will try again because I see some very interesting design probabilities. Imagine printing a scrapbook paper image onto the edible paper to then use as the cake border or accents.
Lastly the cartridges offer such detailed beautiful images which are in my humble opinion impossible to achieve. There is no way the Cricut could cut those intricate designs in the sizes they claim (they claim from 1/2" to 24"). I was hoping to be able to decorate cupcakes don't think that will be an option.
I've got it for 30 days so trying not to give up yet but pretty discouraged with my initial trials.

I can buy one in Australia but the approved stockist isn't reducing the price even though the Aussie dollar is on par with the US dollar at the moment.
I'm thinking of purchasing from the US -even with paying the shipping I can still save money rather than buying from the Aussie stockist. And Amazon and other places in the US sell it cheaper than the Cricut makers.
I have one question though, to someone who owns one... what is the voltage set for on the machine? In Australia we use 240v 50hz power.
The voltage in the UK I think it is the same as Australia - this is something you would have to think about if buying from the US.
