What line of work is she retireing from? I made one for a librarian that had an open book called Dick and Jane Retire sitting against a closed book called The Joy of Retirement. Surrounded it with pen, pencil, card catalog card, overdue stamp and check out card, then made an edible image copy of her work badge.

I love the book idea! very cool, even for a non-booky person. Sort of shows the next "page" of life. Now I wish someone would order a cake like that for me. Hm, can you retire at age 30??
