I have bought two different kinds of sifters and I don't like either of them. Does anyone own an electric sifter and if so do you like? Can you sift Powder Sugar? And what kinds is it and where did you get it.

Sorry for all the questions but thank you so much for responding!!

I have an electric one that I spent $99 on. I LOVE IT! It can hold 3 pounds at a time. It is an imported brand from Israel that I found at a local housewares store. You can probably go online to find one. I am very happy with it. I have onyl used it for flour though, so can't answer your question about PS but I would think you could use it for that as well. good luck.

You know you can go to the dollar store, and get a mesh strainer.

yes, but the manual strainer can take a long time when you have several pounds to do at a time. I love my electric one! Will look up the name brand for you....

One year my kids for Mother's Day bought me a battery operated little sifter!!!
I think it was one of the most thoughtful gifts my kids ever got me. They would see me sifting all the time, so they actually got me something they knew I would use.
The little sifter works great!

I use these and they are AWESOME: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KEJQD8/?tag=cakecentral-20

A 2-lb bag of powdered sugar goes through in under a minute, quite effortlessly.

99 bucks for an electric sifter! LOL!
